About the hair
What is French Curl hair?
A soft, defined curly texture with a bouncy pattern. It gives a natural, voluminous look and can be styled in different ways depending on your preference.
Which length should I choose?
12" is bob length, 16" is bra-strap length, 22" is lower-back length and 24" is bum length.
How many packs do I need?
A full head takes 8–10 packs, though it depends on your desired length, fullness and installation. For a fuller look you may need a few extra, which you can buy as single packs. If you're booked in with me, I'll confirm what you need before you order.
Does the hair come ready to install?
Yes. Once the packaging is removed, gently brush the hair from the bottom upwards. Apply an oil serum or oil sheen spray to refresh and define the curls before installation.
How long does French Curl hair last?
French Curl hair is made from synthetic fibre and can't be reused, so treat it carefully throughout the time you wear it for the best results.
Caring for your curls
Will the curls stay defined?
Yes, with the right care. The curl pattern can soften or loosen over time, especially with frequent washing, brushing or heat. The right products help maintain the definition.
How do I maintain French Curl hair?
Avoid excessive brushing and gently finger-detangle the curls when needed. An oil sheen spray, oil or serum helps maintain the curls and keeps the hair looking fresh.
Can I brush it?
Finger-detangling is best wherever possible. If you do need to detangle, use a wide-tooth comb or a curly-hair brush and work from the ends upwards.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Wash gently with a moisturising shampoo and conditioner. Avoid rough rubbing or scrubbing, which causes tangling and disrupts the curl pattern.
Will it shed?
Some shedding is normal with curly hair, particularly when detangling. Excessive shedding isn't expected and is usually affected by how the hair is installed, handled and maintained.
Can I use heat on it, or straighten it?
No. Heat permanently alters and damages the curl pattern, so French Curl hair can't be heat-styled or straightened.
Can I colour or bleach it?
No. French Curl hair is synthetic, so it can't be coloured or bleached.
How should I sleep with the hair?
Protect the curls with a satin or silk bonnet or scarf, or sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase. Before bed, gently finger-detangle, separate the hair into 4 sections, then twist or plait each one and loosely gather it to reduce tangling overnight.

Can I return my hair?
For hygiene reasons, hair must be unused, unworn and in its original condition to be eligible for a return. See our returns policy for full details.
